Maryland Auto Insurance is seeking an experienced Marketing and Communications Representative to join our award-winning team.
This position will report to a Marketing Supervisor and will not supervise other employees. This is a flextime position scheduled for 80 hours per pay period. Duties of the position may require work during evenings, weekends, or holidays. Additional hours worked, with prior supervisory approval, will be compensated as compensatory time.
This representative will assist leadership in developing and implementing integrated B2B and B2C marketing strategies, as well as comprehensive internal and external communications plans. Marketing responsibilities will also include measuring ROI and adjusting campaigns to optimize results, as well as creating appropriate reports to provide analysis of marketing programs. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Maryland Auto producers will also be required. Communications responsibilities will include campaign development, content development for internal and external websites and newsletters, and development and implementation of an effective community outreach plan and events strategy that produces measurable results. Contributions to executive or board-level presentations will also be required in this position.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing and/or Communications, and at least 4 years of experience developing and implementing marketing and communications strategies. Candidates must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and possess a proven record of driving results through relationship management. Experience working with producers/agents to increase marketing activity is desired. Strong presentation skills and experience in developing metrics and reports are also required. Spanish language skills a plus.
