Agency
Profile
Here's
just one company that supports the Maryland Chapter--over and above
our regular Chapter dues. Please see our list of sponsors and patronize
these companies if you have a public relations need.
IMRE
IMRE is a full-service
marketing agency serving business-to-business and business-to-consumer
clients in the Healthcare, Home & Building, and Financial Services
industries. IMRE specializes in driving demand and purchase for brands
and clients and has always worked to be at the forefront of the latest
technological and social changes facing the industry. The agency's services
include digital, advertising, marketing and public relations.
Demonstrating
its desire to stay ahead of client needs, IMRE has an in-house digital
marketing team that aims to deliver the latest in digital communications
to clients. In January, IMRE showcased the skills of this team and its
talented creative shop with the launch of an innovative iPhone application
dubbed Meeting
Madness. The app is a light-hearted game that encourages co-workers
to use buzzwords during business meetings and have some fun. The game
reveals a little about IMRE's fun-loving culture, while at the same
time demonstrating that the agency is a leader in digital design and
development.
IMRE has
also built a nationally recognized social marketing practice that continues
to support client needs in new ways. IMRE's social marketing team knows
how to navigate clients through strategic decisions about when and how
to employ social marketing – from social media policy development and
FTC compliance to ambassador/loyalist programs, personas and more.
Since
founding Baltimore-based IMRE in 1993, Dave Imre has cultivated a strategic
vision that has helped IMRE to grow from a small PR shop to a top-ranked,
fully integrated agency serving national client brands that include
Target, Travelers, John Deere, Black & Decker and Pfizer. Recently,
IMRE announced that Dave would be moving into the role of chairman and
chief executive officer, while long-time business partner and Chief
Operating Officer Mark Eber assumed the role of president and partner.
Both Imre and Eber have served as past presidents of PRSA Maryland,
and Dave served on the National Board of Directors for PRSA. Dave is
also a past chair of the Mid-Atlantic District of PRSA.

IMRE
Launches iPhone App
IMRE has launched Meeting
Madness a free iPhone app that encourages co-workers to have a little
fun and score points by artfully weaving buzzwords and clichés into
the conversation during business meetings. The idea stemmed from an
employee contest and was selected because it allowed the agency to highlight
the skills of its digital and creative teams, and to reveal a little
about its fun-loving culture.
